Top 10 Movies Set In Paris

Is there a more picturesque setting for a movie than the city of Paris? There are so many wonderful books and films from every genre set in the City of Lights. During my Twitter book launch party for A Magnificent Crime (which is set in Paris, of course!) it was one of our most lively discussions. I promised to write a round-up post of movies set in Paris, so here it is. I’ve managed to narrow it down and below are my top ten choices, in no particular order. (Including my all-time favorite film, which you’ll find at #10!)

1. Amelie (2001)

2. Midnight In Paris (2011)

3. Before Sunrise (1995)

Coming up next week…BOOKS set in Paris!

Glad you like the list! Isn’t it interesting how Paris forms a wonderful backdrop, no matter if it’s a fast-paced thriller, a love story, or an animated comedy (and everything in between)?
