My second book is finally out! A MAGNIFICENT CRIME (Agency of Burglary & Theft #2) was released on June 6, and for the past several days I’ve been busy touring around various websites and blogs, as part of my virtual book launch.
Here are links to some early reviews and my guest posts:
On Strand Magazine’s Mystery Center I wrote a guest post called The Underbelly of Paris, in which I delved into the creepier side of Paris–namely, the catacombs (which are featured in a key scene in my book).
Shelf Pleasure featured my book as a “hot new release”.
The Big Thrill (the magazine of the International Thriller Writers) features a number of authors each month. This month they profiled the likes of Kate White, Eric Van Lustbader, Linda Fairstein, and … me. (See the interview with me here.)
Mom In Love With Fiction reviewed my book, and gave it a fabulous 4.5 stars. Here’s some of what she had to say:
“I love it when a book two exceeds my expectations. Although I enjoyed A Beautiful Heist, book one, this book was better both in character-building and intrigue….If you are a reader who enjoys an entertaining–but multi-dimensional–thrill ride, look no further. A real coup.”
Traveling With T featured two posts on my book: a sneak peak including a little about me (in which she called me adorable–I’m still smiling over that), and then her review of my book a few days later. Here’s a quote from her review:
“Let’s face it- for us goody-two shoes kind of readers, reading about Cat stealing jewels and the two incredibly hot men in her life is a bit of a thrill. Kim Foster indulges me in a read that is a bit voyeuristic about the life of a jewel thief- and then she indulges my sense of travel (hello, Paris!) and lastly- my dreams of two gorgeous men- one a sexy FBI agent (hello!) and the other an art thief (who has layers of wonderful under that sexy exterior).”
